about forest pot

with hundreds of people of all ages from newborn to those in their nineties attending our camps, trainings, workshops, weekday and weekend sessions, we continue to receive participant feedback about the positive impact the experience they have with us has on their mental health, wellbeing, nature connection and sense of belonging to community.

our approach

our approach has been developed on the ground by bringing together ‘forest school’ pedagogy (to learn more visit the ‘forest school association’) and nature connection practices (a special acknowledgement to jon young and the 8 shields movement which have been essential to bringing these ancient practices to the 21st century). in addition to this, our team bring their own individual gifts to the work we do on the ground.

we strive to ensure the project is accessible and sustainable for the future as we know now more than ever, our work in reconnecting people to the natural world is vital for the future of our planet.

donate to our ‘forest pot’ to support our assisted bursary fund, offering places for families who would otherwise be unable to attend.

help us empower future trainees, volunteers and facilitators to impact the mental health, wellbeing and nature connection of our growing communities!

‘circle time’ season

we have created a forest school ‘circle time’ season to inspire your spring ‘coddiwomples’. each episode is about twenty-five minutes long and aimed at children aged six and under and can be watch as many times as you like.

as our groups are currently full, this is an opportunity to share some of our awe and wonder of nature’s magic with everyone.

‘circle time’ is a time during our sessions where we say hello, give gratitude, share stories and sing songs. this series weaves these practices together offering special insights into our forest school.

we hope this series will bring inspiration from ‘k.i.n’ to connect your senses to nature during the awakening of spring.
