we have a range of different opportunities for volunteers to gain experience including our more in depth internship.

we have a team of qualified facilitators as well as a thriving volunteer programme through which we have offered guidance and mentorship. we have always opened the gates to our forest and offered support to people along the way. having started workshops and trainings last year, enabling others is something we are passionate about.

  • fully/partially* funded places on our 2024 workshop programme and other learning opportunities

  • subsidised kinfolk rates for their children on our sessions or expenses stipend for those travelling from a distance

  • hands on experience and mentorship from experienced facilitators 

  • a supportive, inspirational team of co-workers

  • the possibility of paid work on an ad hoc/permanent basis

*depending on whether you are a volunteer or intern

applications will be considered on a first come first served basis. if our internship is full, we will make arrangements for people to join once the current intern leaves so apply as soon as possible to be considered. to apply, please send the following:

  • an email with a brief cover letter outlining why you are applying for an internship with us and why you think you are the right person for the opportunity - we are looking for people who are pursuing a career in ‘forest school’ and have a vision (even if this changes along the way) of how they want to implement their training post completion
