many of the occassions we know today, such as ‘halloween’, ‘easter’ and ‘christmas’ have their origins in ancient celtic festivals. these were celebrations amongst communities of people who were in close relationship with the natural world and who knew their survival was dependent on it.

gather with us on ‘may eve’, to celebrate the peak of spring and very beginnings of summer, drawing on the ancient origins of the celtic nature-based festival ‘beltane’ (meaning ‘bright fire’) among the trees with storytelling, live music, crafts, fire, ceremony and festivities. this point in the year marks the arrival of summer and the lighter half of year.

gather with us as we celebrate the peak of autumn and winter’s beginnings, drawing on the ancient celtic festival of ‘samhain’.
